When Martin & Lorraine Woolf moved to Australia in 2000, they brought with them a traditional family recipe for biltong passed down over 3 generations. Starting from humble beginnings, they had no business plan, but after making biltong for family and friends, coupled with an intense passion for good food, they knew they had found their calling.
In 2007, we built our first website and quickly became the trusted name for ordering biltong online, with literally thousands of satisfied customers. We pride ourselves in making the best and most 'lekker' biltong available throughout Australia. This includes both "wet biltong" (biltong that is dried for less time) as well as the more traditional drier biltong.
Our biltong is made fresh twice a week, we use our own proprietary spice-mix, we don't add any preservatives, and we like it that way.
In 2015 we launched ShopSouthAfrica.com.au for hundreds of imported South African products including biltong spices and biltong equipment.
